High Standards.
Human Leadership.

Good work begins with people who understand what’s expected—and have what they need to do it.

A new menu needs recipes, portions, presentation guidance, and training. A team needs clear communication, useful feedback, and room to ask questions. The details matter because people depend on them.

I start by understanding the work, listening to the people doing it, and seeing where expectations and resources have fallen out of step.

I.

Listen Before You Lead.

Recognize the knowledge already in the room. Understand the person, the pressure, and the circumstances behind the problem.

II.

Make Expectations Usable.

Teach what good work looks like. Put clear standards, practical tools, and the right support within reach.

III.

Help People Grow.

Share responsibility. Celebrate progress. Address mistakes with discernment, and preserve people’s dignity as they learn.

A Clear View.
A Practical
Way Forward.

For owners, GMs, and culinary and F&B leaders who want sound operations and people equipped to carry them forward.

We begin with what is happening, what needs to change, and the people, time, and resources available.

Discuss Your Operation
01

Culinary & Operational Clarity

Examine menu execution, workflows, systems, and standards. Identify the gaps and turn observations into useful priorities.

02

Leadership & Team Development

Help leaders communicate clearly, teach what they know, delegate thoughtfully, and build accountability through trust.

03

Connection Across the House

Bring kitchens, service, catering, purchasing, and management into a shared understanding of the work and what each needs from the others.

Strategic assessments · Advisory · Teaching · Focused guidance through change
Each engagement begins with a clear scope and shared responsibilities.

There’s a Person
Behind the Role.

You carry a great deal for other people.
Your own life deserves attention, too.

If the demands of hospitality leave you stretched, scattered, or caught between your team and the expectations above you, there is room to talk about what you need.

Personal advisory offers a thoughtful conversation about how you work, lead, and live: the decisions in front of you, the relationships that matter, and the responsibility you can begin to share.

Guided by Care.

“Everything I know,
someone taught me.”

My path began in finance, led me to the French Culinary Institute, and grew into a career as an executive chef and hospitality consultant.

The work has taught me to look closely, value the knowledge of the people already there, and stay willing to learn. Passing that knowledge on is part of the job.

My spiritual practice informs how I listen, how I show up, and how I understand service. That perspective finds its place in the everyday work: sharing responsibility, recognizing progress, and treating people with care.

Here, at Mise en Prana, that experience serves hospitality leaders and their teams. My personal site holds the broader story of my life, interests, and work.
